YEREVAN. – In the upcoming parliamentary elections, Armenia’s former FM Vartan Oskanian could be number two in the proportional list of the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.

“This was not ruled out either at PAP, or at Oskanian’s [The] Civilitas [Foundation]. To our question in this connection, Civilitas’ Executive Director Salbi Ghazarian responded: ‘I have heard, but, as far as I know, there is no such thing. I will try to find out, [and] I will say when there is an answer.’ Ghazarian gave no answer yesterday [Monday], until the end of the day, which is an answer, too. In connection with the same query, [PAP Chairman] Gagik Tsarukyan’s spokesperson said: ‘This and all of your remaining questions are either being discussed, or are not yet discussed,’” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
