YEREVAN. – The most recent version, which the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs introduced toward the resolution of the Karabakh conflict, is the March 2011 proposals, Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian said during his interview with television stations.

In his words, the Deauville statement had called for an agreement on this version, and the reason why no agreement was reached is obvious. “Because the Azerbaijani party, as it was in Sochi in March 2011 when it had brought forth more than a dozen changes and new proposals at the last second, did the same in Kazan, in June,” Nalbandian noted.

He also informed that this version is based on fourteen points. “In reality, these points hold no great secrets. And we announced that we welcome these statements and are ready to move forward based upon them. All those statements that were made on the Co-Chairs’ level, and within the OSCE framework, too, are in keeping with our approach, and we are prepared for a settlement based on it, which [however] we do not hear from the Azerbaijani side,” Armenia’s FM stressed.
