Azerbaijani official said Baku should decide on what is the legal form of France’s withdrawal from the OSCE Minsk Group chairmanship.

Azerbaijani Speaker Oktay Asadov responded to MPs’ offer to withdraw France from mediation mission in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Several MPs spoke for the removal during the Wednesday plenary session, APA agency reports.

By adopting the bill on the Armenian Genocide, France lost the moral right to be a mediator, however, it has still a legal right, Asadov said. “We should decide on the legal form of its removal. This issue does not depend on our wish.”
