Azerbaijan’s natural gas supply to Turkey is suspended because of the technical malfunctioning at the gas compressors located in the two countries, the Turkish Dunyabulteni website informs.         

At the same time Iran has reduced its natural gas supply to Turkey. 

The officials at Turkey’s Energy Ministry informed that they are temporarily using diesel and oil, instead of natural gas, to produce electricity.   

It is noted that in winter Turkey consumes 176-million m3 of natural gas per day.
