Speaking to the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter, chief coach Levon Julfalakyan said the national team fighters performed well although there were some shortcomings.

As to the fact that two Armenian fighters Aram Julfalakyan and Hovhannes Varderesyan appeared in the final, chief coach said it was a pleasure to have two Armenians in the final. Besides, the first and second positions were guaranteed.

Regarding if fighters participating in the Bulgaria tournament are candidates of the national team or they are already full members,

Julfalakayan said that they had divided the team into two parts for participation in two tournaments. Such tournaments are decisive to be selected for the team.

“We are doing our best to have more athletes at the London Olympic Games. On the other hand, victory at the European Championship is a priority for each state and the Armenian team gets prepared for it seriously,” he concluded.
