YEREVAN. – Armenian FM Edward Nalbandian received on Tuesday delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) of the European Parliament which is a visit to the region.

Nalbandian praised high the EU high-level political dialogue and mutual visits, as well as bilateral intensively developing relations and stressed importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation, MFA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Both sides mentioned progress was registered in talks on Armenia-EU Association Agreement launched in 2010. The officials underscored importance of the EU decision to launch talks on deep and comprehensive free trade zone.

Nalbandian introduced the current stage of Nagorno-Karabakh peace process. It was stressed that EU fully supports efforts by the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
