The Lebanese army is not going to be involved in the process of disarming the Hezbollah movement. Mahmoud Qomati, Deputy Head of the Political Council of Hezbollah, told this to RIA Novosti.

According to him, there is no force, either in Lebanon or outside it, that would be able to disarm Hezbollah. It is simply impossible, he noted, adding that the Lebanese army is much more prudent in this matter than the government.

According to his information, the commander of the Lebanese army directly warned the ministers during a meeting of the cabinet of ministers that the decision on disarmament of Hezbollah "is just words on paper" that no one in Lebanon can implement.
