Oil prices in the US are likely to continue to rise for several more weeks, Energy Secretary Chris Wright said at the Semafor economic forum in Washington.
The US is going to see higher energy prices. It might even see an increase. But that won't happen until shipping through the Strait of Hormuz reaches a significant level. Then prices will likely peak; probably in the next few weeks, Wright said.
He added that oil prices in the US are expected to fall. But until then, they will rise.
