The next round of US-Iranian talks may take place in Geneva or Islamabad, sources say, AP reports.
The parties are discussing the possibility of holding the next meeting in the Pakistani capital. At the same time, US administration officials have mentioned Geneva as a possible venue for the new round of talks.
The exact time and place of the next meeting between Iranian and US representatives have not yet been determined, but there is a possibility that the new round of talks may take place as early as Thursday.
On April 11, Iran and the US held several rounds of talks in Islamabad. But due to a number of disagreements, the parties failed to reach an agreement on a long-term settlement of the conflict.
