YEREVAN. – Armenian incumbent President, leader of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Serzh Sargsyan will head the RPA election list, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Edward Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding it is a classic example when party leader heads the party list.

According to him, the Republicans headed by President Sargsyan are targeted to holding reforms.

“RPA is an established political power and one of the pioneers of country’s independence. As for quotas, RPA does not have any. The election list will include those who correspond to the logic of party’s reform program, hence, those who are able to realize the program in legislative or executive bodies,” he said.
