TBILISI. – Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili’s Facebook page was attacked by hackers on Friday, presidential administration informs.

The messages claiming Saakashvili is an Armenian by origin were sent to his website for an hour and a half. There were also messages saying his wife Sandra Roelofs works for American special service and the Georgian people deserve better president, Interfax-West reports.

The hackers attacked Saakashvili’s page after Georgian bloggers have sent 200 messages to the Russian President Dmitri Medvedev’s Facebook page on Thursday demanding de-occupation of Georgian territories, Ekho Kavkaza (Echo of Caucasus) reports.
