YEREVAN. – Gagik Abrahamyan, who is the eldest of the Abrahamyan family of MPs in the Armenian National Assembly—and who “sits” in the parliament for numerous years—, in all probability will bid farewell this time to his “residence,” Irates De Facto biweekly writes, under the heading: “They say…”

“According to the latest ‘principle,’ the businessman who ‘sits’ in the parliament with [the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA’s proportional [election] list, will no longer be ‘enlisted’ with the same election system, and the majority [election] spots are already ‘distributed.’ They also say that Abrahamyan likewise does not intend on running again and has decided to fully ‘devote’ himself to business activities. And it is not yet clear as to what awaits the other brothers of the Abrahamyan family. But our source assures they say that the Abrahamyan family will not ‘disappear;’ one of them will be in tomorrow’s parliament. Money buys everything,” Irates De Facto writes.
