YEREVAN. – Environmental activists struggling against the installation of boutiques in the Mashtots Park in Yerevan downtown will continue their struggle and demand that the city hall should dismantle the pavilions, the activists said during the civil forum organized on Saturday. 

According to them, Armenia has established a civil society and the authorities cannot neglect it.

Many famous people, including actors Yervand Manaryan and Ashot Adamyan, joined the activists in their protest against the installation of the pavilions.

The activists met with Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan on the issue but have not reached any agreement.
