YEREVAN. – If Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party announces, twice a week or a month, that it will resort to a change in power and does not achieve it, it will disappoint the people, Heritage’s Vice Chairman Ruben Hakobyan said during a press conference on Monday. “Consequently, Heritage has adopted a very practical step: to stand alongside one citizen and to reach a concrete result,” he added.

With respect to Armenia’s foreign policy, the opposition party member recalled yet again that they continue to demand that the Armenian side withdraw its signature from the Armenian-Turkish protocols. In his words, Heritage supports the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, but the latter must be established without any preconditions.

And reflecting on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Ruben Hakobyan said that the conflict’s settlement process shall not include any document which will put Karabakh’s independence under a doubt.
