YEREVAN. – Prior to Armenia’s upcoming parliamentary elections, the election battle will take on a classic shape where the battle will be waged between the opposition and the authorities, opposition Heritage Party MP Armen Martirosyan said during a press conference on Tuesday.      

In his words, even though the campaign will be between the opposition and the authorities, some branches of the authorities will attempt to snatch votes away from one another, and the same could occur among the opposition, too.     

Also, Heritage’s MP did not rule out the possibility of their forming a block with the opposition Free Democrats Party, and added that the answer to this question will be given during Heritage’s Board session to be held on March 18.
