BRUSSELS. – The relations between European Parliament and Armenia are stable and developing, President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz said.

Speaking during a joint briefing with President Sargsyan, Martin Schulz pointed out good relations between the National Assembly and the European Parliament, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Brussels.

Schulz welcomed efforts of President Sargsyan directed to conduction of free and fair elections.

Commenting on the Karabakh peace process, Schulz said that the European Parliament agrees that the way to conflict resolution underlies in the Madrid principles introduced by the OSCE Minsk Group.
