YEREVAN. – “As we had written earlier, according to our information, [the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia] RPA was seriously considering finding a replacement for [RPA MP] Hermine Naghdalyan, but we had not ruled out that during that time she would be able to fully use her women’s finesse and again be included in the [RPA’s parliamentary election] list. [And] We learned yesterday [Wednesday] that the ‘permission’ to include Naghdalyan in the list is already given. And she might even be the first woman nominee in the [list’s] top ten [names]. Even though she regularly finds herself in not-so-pleasing situations with RPA and the higher echelons [of power], she skillfully is able to come out ‘unscaved’ and pretend to be innocent,” Yerkir daily writes.
