YEREVAN. – Some messages, which were delivered during the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia congress, were for the foreign audience, capital Yerevan’s Regional Studies Center Director Richard Giragosian stated during a press conference on Monday.
“Whether or not you support Armenia’s authorities, it must be accepted that Armenia’s foreign policy is in a very strong position today, in terms of the Karabakh issue and the Armenian-Turkish relations alike. But Armenia needs to maintain and strengthen this success. Otherwise, it will vanish,” Giragosian said.
He also noted that Armenia’s authorities would be under a serious pressure if the upcoming parliamentary elections do not differ from the previous ones.
“This is test which Armenia could either pass or fail,” the political analyst concluded.
