YEREVAN. – The ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) decided to reserve for its newly elected Supreme Body (SB) the “discussion and approval” of the Party’s proportional election list for the upcoming parliamentary elections, Zhoghovurd daily writes, referring to the information it has received.   

“It is probable that RPA could reflect on this matter during its SB session this week, and it [the list] will be made public next week, at the latest. In an interview with us, [National Assembly] NA RPA Faction MP Hovhannes Sahakyan said the list will be publicized soon. But he did not specify when. ‘There is a defined term; we will present [the list] within that term. In any case, there still is time. The nominations have just begun,’ he said,” Zhoghovurd writes.
