YEREVAN. – Armenian News-NEWS.am presents exclusive interview with the leader of Armenian oppositional Republic Party’s political council Aram Sargsyan.

There are many rumors about the election list of Armenian National Congress in the media and ANC has not confirmed its list yet.

There are always protests during the proportional and majoritarian lists discussions in any political force. Armenian National Congress is not an exception. It could’ve not made an exception as there are many bright personalities, experienced people in ANC. When the lists are good the people’s participation is also good, if the lists are bad the participation is also bad.

Republic Party has only one representative in ANC. Will the party participate with the majoritarian candidates?

The majoritarian system demands serious financial investment. Our party members are going to fight for real victories. That means works must be conducted for registrations, groups of supporters must be gathered. This needs serious investments. If those problems are solved of course we will participate, if not the participation will be senseless.
