YEREVAN. - Armenia’s Public Council and Greece’s Economic and Social Council signed a cooperation agreement on Friday.

President of the Economic and Social Council of Greece (OKE) Christos Polyzogopoulos gave appraisal of cooperation prospects with the Armenian Public Council, stating they will support Armenia in European agencies on integration and deepening the existing relations, Council informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Both sides stressed the importance of expanding relations between the two states. Besides, they touched upon social, economic and political issues of mutual interest.

“This is the first step of bilateral cooperation. However, it will be followed by elaboration of cooperation in certain fields,” head of the Public Council Vazgen Manukyan said.
