TEHRAN. – A 4.8-magnitude earthquake shook Iran. Its epicenter was located in the western Ilam Province, nearby the Dehloran city in close proximity to the border with Iraq, the Institute of Geophysics of the University of Tehran informs.
And as IRNA News Agency reported, the seismic activity was recorded on Saturday at 9:55 a.m. local time. There are no reports on any casualties or devastation.
