YEREVAN. – A magnitude-2.7 earthquake was registered in Armenia, on Wednesday at 11:43 am local time, 5 km north of Artashat city.

The tremor’s hypocenter was 7 kilometers beneath the surface, National Seismic Protection Service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The seismic activity measured magnitude 3-4 at the epicenter.

According to preliminary data, the quake measured 3 in Artashat, Verin Dvin, and Aygestan.
