YEREVAN. – The US dollar’s highest exchange rate for 2012 was registered at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday. 

As a result of trading, the dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 390.79/$1. And it was even offered for AMD 391/$1 at the end of the trading session.   

The total sales were $3.6 million.

Armenia’s exchange offices buy the dollar at a maximum of AMD 389.5/$1 and sell at a minimum of AMD 391/$1.
