YEREVAN. – The Armenian Apostolic Church will celebrate the Easter on Apr. 8. On the threshold of the celebration the price for eggs increases so much as to create an artificial deficit.

However, it is still unknown how it would be this year, anyway official data claim that egg production has been reduced, especially in the regions.

A strict control and everyday monitoring will be conducted over egg prices. The National Statistics Service states that the average price has increased by 5.5% in March as compared to the same period last year, while it registered 0.9% decrease in February.
