YEREVAN. – Armenia is ready to discuss with Russia construction of a radar station in its territory similar to the Azerbaijani Gabala Radar Station, Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan said in an interview with Russian Kommersant.

In case Russia and Azerbaijan fail to agree on Gabala rental agreements, Armenia will approve the construction of such a station in its territory.

“If our territory arouses interest, we are ready to discuss the issue,” Sargsyan said adding Armenia may get advantage as it is a mountainous state.
