Turkey’s Minister for EU Affairs Egemen Bagis responded to the Slovakian Supreme Court Chairman Štefan Harabin’s statement.

He said if any Turkish official dares to deny in Slovakia the fact of the Armenian Genocide, he/she will be immediately sentenced up to five years in prison.

Bagis characterized the statement as political, recalling a Slovak saying “Lies have short legs”. The Minister stressed those dealing with such ‘lies’ will knee down before the bitter reality, Turkish Internethaber reports.
