World-renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli gave a concert Sunday at Liberty Square of Armenia’s capital Yerevan. During the 1.5-hour event, Bocelli performed well-known arias from Italian opera, Armenian News-NEWS.am informs.

The open-air concert also brought together President Serzh, Sargsyan, leaders of foreign delegations—which arrived in Armenia in connection with the 500th anniversary of Armenian printed books and Yerevan’s declaration by UNESCO as the 2012 Book Capital of the World—, and senior officials.

At the end of the concert, Bocelli sang Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and his famous hit, “Time to Say Goodbye.”

Andrea Bocelli was accompanied by the Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hover Choir.
