YEREVAN. – Yuri Chaika, the Prosecutor General of Russia, arrived in Armenia Wednesday on a working visit. 

On the same day, Yuri Chaika and Armenia’s Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan held a private conversation, during which they discussed the interaction between the prosecutorial agencies of the two countries.   

Also, the two prosecutor generals signed the 2012-2013 Cooperation Program between the general prosecutor’s offices of Armenia and Russia. In line with this program, the agencies agreed to hold joint roundtables and discussions on a variety of topics.   

In addition, Yuri Chaika presented the Russian President’s Medal of Honor to Aghvan Hovsepyan for his great contribution to developing Armenian-Russian cooperation in strengthening legitimacy and law and order.
