American Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Company launched its new 2nd-Generation A-Series APU, named Trinity for mainstream and ultrathin notebooks, All-in-One and traditional desktops, home theater PCs and embedded designs.

As Digit.ru reports, depending on the model the processors have two or four driver cores, DDR3 memory controller and graphics controller Radeon HD 7000.

The new Trinity models double the performance per watt of the previous generation Llano. AMD considers that mobile computers based on AMD Trinity will be able to operate on the battery for up to 12 hours.
