Turkish citizen, member of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK,) Ali Ihsan K. was charged in Hamburg.

According to the prosecutor, he supported the Kurdish rebels from May 2007 to September 2008.

The German police arrested him in October 2011 and since that day he has been in custody, lenta.ru reports referring to the Associated Press.

The accused headed the PKK branches in Hamburg, Kiel, Bremen and Oldenburg. His task was to raise funds for the party.
