YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will pay an official visit to Japan from Tuesday to Thursday. 

In Tokyo, the President will meet with Japan’s senior officials and discuss the development of Armenian-Japanese ties. Also, Sargsyan will get together with several Japanese businessmen, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

In the City of Sendai, Armenia’s President will visit the Yuriage Shrine at Hiyoriyama, pay his respects to the victims of the tsunami that hit Japan last year, and get familiar with the activities toward eliminating the disaster’s aftermath.    

And on Friday, Serzh Sargsyan will head to Vietnam for an official visit.

The President will meet and discuss matters with the country’s senior leadership. Also, documents envisioning the development of Armenian-Vietnamese relations are scheduled to be formally signed. 

In Hanoi, Armenia’s President will also meet with the graduates from Armenian universities.
