YEREVAN. – According to the news being circulated, Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan and Armenia’s second President Robert Kocharyan met in Artsakh last week and discussed the upcoming presidential elections in the NKR, Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun (CI) daily writes.

“[During the meeting] Kocharyan said these elections must be the most democratic ones in Artsakh and all the political forces will be at Sahakyan’s side.

At the same time Kocharyan discussed with Bako the investment projects envisioned in Artsakh and he hinted that much larger businessmen, specifically from Russia and the US, will set their feet on Artsakh this year.

CI tried to receive clarifications about this meeting from both sides, which neither denied nor confirmed this information.
