YEREVAN. – An uncertain situation is created following the US dollar’s exchange rate’s two-day drop against the Armenian Dram (AMD) in Armenia’s financial market.

No trading was conducted Wednesday at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. And the reason was the difference between the offer and demand exchange rates, as the US currency was offered at AMD 418/$1, but it was not evaluated more than AMD 417/$1.

The dollar’s exchange rate is more inclined to rise in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is bought and sold primarily at the AMD 417-419/$1 range.
