STEPANAKERT.- Nagorno-Karabakh has provided all necessary democratic conditions for holding election, Director of the European Center of Geopolitical Analysis Mateusz Piskorski told reporters on Thursday.

“Even the neighboring countries do not comply with the conditions which are observed in Karabakh,” he emphasized.

Piskorski said Karabakh has every reason to be recognized as a full-fledged state, adding that representatives of the democratically elected Karabakh authorities should hold the talks.

The fifth presidential elections are underway Thursday at the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR). The voter turnout as of 15 p.m. reached 49.93 % or 49,468.
