MOSCOW. – Russia will not support the Arabian project resolution on Syria submitted for the UN General Assembly consideration, due to its unbalanced character, Russian MFA reports.

“Moscow believes that the current document does not secure achievement of stabilizing the situation and stopping violence in Syria, hence, Russia will not support it,” the statement reads.

MFA also explained that in the given document, as before, the entire responsibility for what is happening in the country rests only on the Syrian authorities, while the opposition is displayed beyond the requirements of the international community.

Hence, the line of uncompromised armed struggle by the opposition against the authorities is encouraged, Rosbalt quotes the MFA.
