YEREVAN. – The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Anders Fogh Rasmussen will visit Azerbaijan.

The visit of the NATO Secretary General is scheduled for Sept. 7. Fogh Rasmussen is expected to meet with country’s leadership to discuss the issue of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Alliance, as well as the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP), APA agency reports.

As the Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed, Anders Fogh Rasmussen will visit Armenia on Sept. 5-6. During his visit, the NATO Secretary General will meet with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, the FM Edward Nalbandian and the Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan.
