YEREVAN. - The Armenian National Congress (ANC) considers that one of three demands to the authorities is satisfied, ANC member Levon Zurabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier this week Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said new impetus should be given to investigation of the March 1, 2008 events.

Asked whether the ANC cherishes hopes with president’s statement Zurabyan noted that only change of power will provide for final and full disclosure of the March 1 crimes.

The Armenian National Congress is an oppositional union founded in 2008 headed by first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan. Oppositional union comprises 17 political parties.
