President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will arrive on a visit to Armenia on Friday, Armenian Ambassador in Tehran Grigor Arakelyan told IRNA agency. The visit is made at the invitation of Armenian leader Serzh Sargsyan.

Arakelyan recalled that the visit of Iranian leader was planned for summer but was canceled due to technical reasons, as work on certain documents had not been completed.

He pointed out excellent relations between the states, stressing that Ahmadinejad’s visit to Armenia will contribute to further deepening of Armenian-Iranian relations.
