YEREVAN. – The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia (CPA) approved the decision to run for the upcoming parliamentary elections jointly with the Progressive United Communist Party in Armenia during the Saturday session.

Ruben Tovmasyan, first secretary of the CPA, will head the proportional list of candidates, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports.

At the same time, the two parties refused to establish one official bloc, which will have to overcome not the 5% but 7% barrier during the elections.
