YEREVAN. – As of this fall, all of Armenia’s prisoners who are serving a life sentence will be transferred to a prison which is being built in a village of the Armavir Region, Irates De Facto writes.

“The colony is envisioned for 1,450 inmates, the prison cells are intended primarily for two persons, and the conditions—as they assure—have received modern solutions.

As our source informed, today the justice system has a great deal to do in terms of examining the cases of the 105 persons who are serving a life sentence in Armenia, because having such great number of life-term servers in our country is a disturbing fact,” Irates De Facto writes.
