YEREVAN. – Upon the instruction by Armenia’s National Security Service, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) is preparing to carry out inspections at The Civilitas Foundation, whose founder and chairman is former FM and Prosperous Armenia Party MP Vartan Oskanian, Zhoghovurd daily writes.

“In an interview with us, the SRC explained: ‘The SRC Operational Intelligence Department is conducting at The Civilitas Foundation an inspection of the accuracy of interrelations with the [state] budget.

The [respective] order is submitted to The Civilitas representatives, and the inspections will be conducted as of [Thursday,] June 28.’

To note, a staff outflow has already begun from The Civilitas. People prefer handing in resignations and leaving in order to avoid legal red-tape and the prospect of becoming a scapegoat,” Zhoghovurd writes.
