YEREVAN. – The Armavia airline company, which was the national carrier of Armenia and which had declared bankruptcy, has outstanding debts not solely to its former employees, but to numerous companies and banks, Zhoghovurd daily reported,

“Zhoghovurd tried to find out from Armavia’s proprietor [and businessman] Mikhail Baghdasarov by what means he is going to pay off the debts which the company belonging to him has accumulated.

‘“I’ve paid off a part of the debts. I’ve put up two apartments for sale; they will be sold, [and] I’ll pay off the debts. I’ll sell everything to pay off the debts,’ Mika Baghdasarov responded,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
