YEREVAN. – It became apparent from well-informed sources that Argentinean Armenian businessman Eduardo Eurnekian has decided not to purchase the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun daily reported.    

“The thing is that the Ararat Restaurant and the Noyan Tapan bookstore likewise are located in the MFA building. The owners of these companies have asked for a rather high price to sell the building’s spaces belonging to them, to which the businessman did not agree.     

“(…) The Tango Ltd. belonging to Eurnekian, by purchasing the MFA building, was to turn it into a Kempinski-brand 5-star hotel,” Chorrord Ishkhanutyun wrote.
