YEREVAN. – The prices of eggs will not increase in the stores and supermarkets in Armenia ahead of Easter, Zhoghovurd daily reported.

“The chairman of the Union of Poultry Breeders of Armenia, Sergey Stepanyan, informed this to Zhoghovurd.

‘“The poultry breeders are stockpiling large quantities of eggs these days so that our citizens would not have a problem in Easter,’ Stepanyan said.

“He also assured that there will be no artificial shortage of eggs on those days in the retail outlets of [capital city] Yerevan. Let’s see,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
