YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of Armenia has sent over eighty invitations, at the level of the leadership of the parliaments of numerous other countries, to attend the official events of the Armenian Genocide Centennial, Hraparak daily reported.

“We found out that 32 countries already have formally accepted and confirmed the invitation to come to Armenia on April 24[, the anniversary of the genocide].

“They say there will be an unprecedented number of guests, [and] all the top hotels—not solely of [capital city] Yerevan, but of Tsaghkadzor, Dilijan and the nearby places—are unprecedentedly full.

“According to our information, the RPA [i.e. the ruling Republican Party of Armenia] [members] had even proposed to accommodate some of the guests in their homes,” Hraparak wrote.
