YEREVAN. – The presidents of four countries, who had arrived in Armenia to participate in the Armenian Genocide Centennial commemorations, were seen off on the evening of the same day, April 24, Hraparak daily reported.

“We learned that French President François Hollande was seen off [at the airport] by [Armenian President] Serzh Sargsyan; RF [i.e. Russian Federation] President Vladimir Putin, by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan; Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, by Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan; and Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić, by Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan.

“The interesting [thing] in all this is that when Putin and Hollande had arrived [in Armenia], the [Armenian] President had welcomed them, but it turns out that Serzh Sargsyan had seen off solely Hollande.

“It is also noteworthy that the task of seeing off the president of Cyprus was entrusted to Karen Chshmarityan, the conversations about whose dismissal do not stop,” Hraparak wrote.
