YEREVAN. – The Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) company plans to petition to the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) with a request for raising the price of electricity being supplied to consumers, Zhoghovurd daily reported. 

“Yesterday [i.e. Wednesday] Zhoghovurd tried to find out from the ENA when the petition will be submitted. ENA Press Secretary Natalya Sarjanyan said the matter is still under discussion, but the company plans to petition to the PSRC in the near future.

“However, Zhoghovurd managed to find out that the ENA management intends to submit the petition to the PSRC the very next week; that is to say, we can already predict that the price of electricity [in Armenia] will increase from July 1 this year,” Zhoghovurd wrote.
