YEREVAN. – Second President of the Republic of Armenia (RA) Robert Kocharyan’s son Levon Kocharyan and his wife, famous singer Sirusho, could not travel to the US this time, Zhamanak daily reported.

“According to our information, the US embassy in the RA did not grant [them] a visa [this time].

“The thing is that, while in the US in order to have a child, they breached the specified period of the visa.

“We called Sirusho, to ascertain the veracity of the information, who got angry for calling her in non-working hours, and urged to apply to her representative with work issues.      

“In any case, Sirusho did not deny that they had been refused to be granted a [US] visa,” Zhamanak wrote. 

To note, Sirusho represented Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.
