YEREVAN. – The head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly (RPA NA) Faction, Vahram Baghdasaryan, on Friday stated that the resolution of the fate of constitutional reforms in the Republic of Armenia (RA) is close-at-hand, 168 Zham daily reported.

‘“It seems to me that soon we will have a final answer as to when we shall consider at the National Assembly the issue of constitutional reforms,’ he said.

“As per Baghdasaryan, the political forces’ proposals [for the constitutional reforms] shall now be discussed in the specialized committee, which will give a conclusion. Subsequently, RA President Serzh Sargsyan will make a decision, and the draft will be sent to the National Assembly.

‘“The constitutional amendments will be discussed in the NA in the near future,’ said the head of the RPA [NA] Faction,” 168 Zham wrote.
